The challenge
- Redesign the old site to accomodate a more complex content structure
- Creating interactive elements that are consistent with the branding guidelines
- Designing a clear, easily accessible structure for the job board
- Updating the logo and overall branding strategy to better fit the new site
UI/UX Design & Development
We started our design process with the discovery phase and the necessity to conduct user research since TechTalent a distinct target market. The result was a comprehensive set of data that reflected the user needs, expectations, preferences and usability habits. These were then translated into user personas and detailed user flows.
Since the site contained two cornerstone blocks of the system: presentation of tech recuitment services alongside a job board, both the design and development process had to focus on those two main requirements.
The main concept for the job board was that all available opportunities were organized hierarchically using a clear list that was fast to scan and details for each job post were also easily available.
Branding
The visual identity for TechTalent focused on the brand features: smart, out of the box thinking, savvy and innovative. The overall voice and tone of the logo and branding elements reflect the company and its mission.
The Outcome
The design has been implemented into a functional product. Active users complimented us on the improved look and feel and the new site. The client also reported increased conversion rates and user activity, so the overall redesign was a success.
